thank you for your incredibly precious gift, your big heart, your generosity writing about this treasure within you.... everything you write is absolutely touching. As usual I'll need to read it 4 or 5 more times... I have already lots of handkerchief near me to handle all the emotions your writing moves deeply.
Beautiful Justyna, just beautiful. What a heartfelt sharing. This was a letter very worth posting, and I too wish you the best of this being.
I find more often, “I” cannot create joy, if I’m truly “here,” everything is joy. And I’m loving each moment of watching, listening, feeling, and hearing it.
Thank you, Brian, for reading, appreciating, and sharing these kind words! It means a lot to me since, as I wrote, I was very much hesitant about posting this letter.
Thank you so much, Brian, for reading, appreciating, and sharing these kind words! It means a lot to me since, as I wrote, I was very much hesitant about posting this letter.
I'm touched by your reflections. It's wonderful to hear how you find joy in being present and fully immersed in each moment. Your perspective is beautiful and resonates deeply with me, especially since the joy you mention escapes any form of verbal grasping, and yet, in those few simple words, you came very close to it!
Wishing you continued joy, love, and fulfilment in every experience :)
Ah, I forgot to answer your question! I wander, taking the small tracks, made by animals. I feel joy when I discover something unique: a feather, a colourful rock, a beautiful view, a little lizard bathing in the sun. Just being there, alone with nature, the sun or rain (and my love) is enough.
Thank you Justyna, for your honest, wise and beautifully written story. It definitely doesn't read wrong for me! I wish you all the best and all the love in this wonderful world.
thank you so much for these beautiful words. the entire piece is so meaningful, and here are a few excerpts that really leapt out to me:
"Back then, I didn’t take into account the possibility of death."
"When I say I wouldn’t be able to love the way I had loved you, I am glad it is this way. That means I have grown, healed, and seen through things which otherwise would’ve remained inscrutable and impenetrable. It means I have learned to love myself and life with all they contain—and thanks to that, I no longer put it all in the hands of another human being. It means that I have faced my darkness and walked through it until I saw the light again."
"I am grateful I got to experience a love that was simple, unyielding, and so sure of its own force. I will cherish it for the rest of my life. And I am grateful for surviving its end. It showed me things I would’ve never thought I was capable of—such as loving anew."
"So, let’s love ourselves for all that we’re becoming, and for all that we’re leaving behind."
thank you for sharing so deeply of your experience.
