I love this question: "What is one thing you can do this week to reignite the child-like sense of wonder and play?"
One way that I'm going to bring reignition to the childsense of wonderplay is to combine-ify all these words in ways that have maybe never been before. Perhaps like a child might, with their child might!
Oh, thank you so much, dear Grace. It is an honour to keep welcoming you in this space of slowed-down-time and excellent autumn leaves :) Thank you for being such a gracious, kind, and generous visitor! π€
Such a vivid re-wilding, unearthing, uncovering that which may become sleepy over time. To return to our child like wonder where everything indeed is an adventure. Such a deeply heartfelt offering this is. My gratitude. π§‘π
Such a life giving invitation. I did treat myself today to a deep tissue massage, and always my body is such a chatter box of thanks. A total release with hot stones, rose and orange oil, and my other worldly practitioner. πΉπ§‘
One thing that I have been doing weekly since the end of July is to make a wishβfor example, to meet the love of my life within the weekβand found that not only is the wish granted but what is received is far beyond what was expectedβfor we are limited only by our imagination.
That's a beautiful practice, Alex! I've also been cultivating my imagination and setting intentions, and I can, too, say that it makes living very magical at times :)
Thank you so much for this reflection, it is beautiful and true. When we are children, we know the joy of wonder and discovery. We lose that as adultsβ¦ because we think weβve figured everything out. The truth is that children have it right, because we never can figure everything out. The Bible verse you quoted is one of my favorites, often misinterpreted as what we must do to enter heaven. I believe that what Jesus is saying is that when we become like little children, we can SEE the Kingdom of God - today, here, in this life. Bless you ππΌβ₯οΈ

I feel like you are already playing so well with words in your jokes, which is something I really look forward to seeing on my Substack feed!:)
So thank you, too, for your hilarious words!
Beautiful, heartfelt, healing reflections here, Justyna. Time seems to slow down just a little bit when I read your work. ππ

Dear Joanie, itβs so good to hear from you! Thank you for taking the time to read and share your thoughts; it really means a lot π€
Iβm so glad you enjoyed this piece! :) And thank you for your kind words also.
Have you done anything in the past few days to be in conversation with that wonder-full part of you?

Thank you, Justyna! Intention plus imagination does make living magical, doesnβt it? :)
I came across Adam Robinsonβs three rules of life, which I find very helpful/practical in creating magic:
1. Connect with others whenever possible.
2. Strive always to create fun and delight for others.
3. Lean into each moment and encounter expecting magic or miracles.
