I am new to your writing and incredibly thankful to have found it. You weave words, stories, and meaning so beautifully together. Your ability to gently cultivate but so accurately identify the most nuanced and specific of feelings— just wow!

Oh, thank you so much! This means a lot, and I really appreciate you taking the time to share it!

I usually write "from my body," and often I’m gently surprised by what wants to come through, and how. It’s incredibly encouraging to hear that the writing resonates with you in that way.

I’m so glad you’re here! I hope it feels a little like home :) 🤍

This spoke to me. There is a quiet strength in the way you describe stillness, not as an escape but as a deep engagement with life. I felt comforted by your reminder that we do not have to prove our worth through movement or productivity. The part about shedding layers and staying close to the flame of being stayed with me. Your writing makes space for honesty and for all the messy, tender parts of being human. Thank you for sharing this. It helped me slow down and feel more at home in myself.

yesterday I commented on a post by Susan Cain with the question of "which is or was your greatest love?" and I couldn't leave out, next to stories of connection to beings (human and otherwise) my utter love for silence.

(once I find my way out of my own long slumber in what seems to the outside world as years of nothing, but to me is a slow silence of becoming,

once I can get myself out there and "earn enough" to become part of this system again, I'll click that upgrade to paid. until then I'm sending love and gratefulness through our shared ether of silence.)

Dear Elle, I, too, often tend to that kind of companionship that exists in silence — a way of being alongside one another without needing to rush toward visibility or achievement. Your words carry that presence.

Whenever and however you feel ready to emerge, I hope the world meets you gently. And until then, I’m honoured to share this quiet corner with you 🤍

The map is almost complete; then, the seasons change, cycles evolve, and, rediscovery re-emerges. Endlessly, glad to accompany the journey.

“ The process of corrosion or overgrowth change their form over time, but they don’t erase them. A grain of sand carries traces of the mountain, and the entire forest is nurtured by the decomposed wood.”

All things are together in one place

Each thing is moved thru nature’s pattern of DIFFERENCE

The whole divides in to parts. 🧬

The parts move around and in and out of each other.

The water flows in and out of creatures 🐿️ and plants 🌱.

Wow. You express so well what I feel. Your an inspiration to go deeper. I write ✍️ from my cottage in the forest after 10 days, I guess, here.. with those questions, blessing, realisations in the ❤️.. today I travel back to the smoke (Frankfurt).. but I always leave a part of me here. Stillness speaks or holds the truth, and the truth is born out of its presence in us I feel, was my seeing this trip.. not much, mind says, but there is a knowing that it's everything. I hope you bring these writings into a book 📚 someday.. for me, it reminds me to thank all the animals and plants.. especially one tree that seems to hold high vibrations.. and seems like the one "Holding the space" around here.. nature invites us to learn rather than judge

Thank you for this beautiful reflection! I can feel the stillness of your forest cottage in your words, and that tender truth you speak of: how presence offers us more deeply to life. I know that feeling of leaving a part of yourself behind in a place that holds you—and how nature, in its quiet way, becomes a teacher, a mirror, and a space-holder.

I love what you said about the tree. There’s such reverence in noticing which beings are holding the field around us.

Thank you for sharing your experiences—and for the encouragement about the book. I carry that hope too :)

Words....each so full and deep in meaning while exploring the chasm which death can open.

Pluto , lord of the underworld.

As the Sun, we die many times to ourselves it seems and arise to new days;

sometimes unwillingly.

A great turning is upon us all and with each moment a different view,

if we see it.

Education and knowing have not prepared us for such profound not-knowing and so quite naturally we can cling while frogs and trees and birds just sing; our bear feet feel the truth and even the Sun is higher or lower, then gone.......

Thanks so much for the glimpses of reality through your window of human despair; Only a friend would share them

I love the word whimsy; not much used these days; sort of onomatopaico

You are courageous Justyna

PS. what sort of oil do you put the Lilac flowers into ??

Dear Peter, thank you, always, for being a friend. Your words read like a meditation—full of depth and tenderness.

I hold close that image of frogs and trees and birds simply being, while we try to make sense of the unspeakable.

Yes… we die to ourselves again and again, often without readiness—and still the sun rises, and the earth quietly holds us. I like to place my hands on bare soil to be reminded I am held when I feel groundless.

Thank you for receiving my words with such care—it truly means a lot.

And as for the lilacs: I’m planning on using a mix of jojoba and sweet almond oil, with a few drops of vitamin E extract and essential oils. I read that both jojoba and almond have a good shelf life, so I’m hopeful the scent will carry through well :)

And yes—whimsy is such a wonderful word! I was introduced to it by Mary Oliver's poetry :)

Yes… that feeling of being held in its endless embrace without needing to do or become anything. Nature invites that kind of stillness so... naturally :) it is a gift to surrender to it. Thank you for putting it so simply and beautifully, dear Yoli 🙏🏼
